First Tooth

          EJ's first tooth cut through today!  He was nice enough to smile for me so I could take a picture of it.

Together Again

          EJ and his buddies, Ethan, Andrew, Gavin, and Teagan, are growing quickly!  The left is three months ago, and the right is yesterday, when the babies got together for a swim party so that Andrew, Ethan, and Teagan could show Gavin and EJ all the cool stuff they learned in their swimming class.  It was EJ's first time in a pool, and he loved it!  He kicked, splashed, and even (accidentally) dunked his face in the water a few times, all without tears.  We finally called it quits when his lips started turning blue.  All five babies had a blast swimming, and amazingly, no one cried!  Swimming was a hit!

Firefighters

          San Diego's fire fighters had their work cut out for them in May when several brush fires started and threatened homes and businesses in and around San Diego.  The kids in our playgroup made a sign thanking the firefighters for their service, and EJ helped.  It was his first time coloring!  After working on their sign for over a week, the kids gave it to some of the firefighters from our local station.

Parachute

          Last week, it was parachute day at our post Stroller Strides playgroup.  The bigger kids decided to lie down and pretend to be babies for part of the time so that EJ and Andrew could get under the parachute and play, too.  EJ loved it!  He started kicking his feet and waving his arms around as soon as he was under there.

           We took EJ to his first baseball game when the Twins came to town to play the Padres.  He did really well, and we had a great time!
