San Diego Botanic Gardens

After meeting friends at the San Diego Botanic Gardens, we stayed and played by ourselves for an hour and a half. It was my first time on my own with the boys somewhere so big! Our only outings by ourselves have been at the library or quick errands. This felt like a major accomplishment!

Baking with EJ - Chocolate Chip Cookies

EJ is always very interested in what I'm doing in the kitchen, so I decided it was time for us to bake something together. He helped get the ingredients out of the cabinets, helped pour them into the bowl, turned the mixer on and off, and most importantly, helped eat the cookies! He loved it! Baking treats with EJ is something I've been looking forward to since he was born, so I loved it, too!
