Memorial Day

Pete was on call Memorial Day weekend, so we didn't have any big plans, but we did take him to Stroller Strides with us!

Another gray morning, but no rain.

I loved where he put his sunglasses sticker.

My potluck contribution.

Pete and I accidentally wore matching outfits.

Aaron likes to help me do crunches. We had one left!

Friday Night Hikes

We've been having lots of May gray around here, but no rain.

Aaron is suddenly very into sunglasses.

Last night's hike took us from our house to Lake View Park. Then we took a trail from the park down to Lake Miramar and walked along the lake for about a mile before heading home.

Aaron climbs up right after EJ these days.

EJ would fly off the end of this slide and land on his tummy in the sand most of the time! Its unique design made it a little tricky.

We do a lot of sliding.

EJ

The perfect pants for a day when being able to see the bandaid on your knee is of the utmost importance, but your mom says it's too cold for shorts.

The Park

Another day at the park after Stroller Strides!

Aaron loves this huge speaker one of the instructors brings to class.

Dancing!

Swinging

EJ was all about pushing Aaron in the swings this morning, and Aaron loved it!

Taking a break from swinging for EJ to shove sand up his shorts by the handful and Aaron to shove sand in his mouth by the handful.

South Creek Park

We recently discovered South Creek Park and it's one of our new favorites! It's under ten minutes away, and it's a big park that's very EJ-friendly.

Later at home, I asked EJ what his favorite part of the park was, and he said the water fountain. Apparently it had a big effect on him.

Swinging! Aaron just started using the baby swings.

Swinging with Daddy! This is the first picture of its kind.
