Pepperwood - Part 5

On one of our days in Pepperwood, we went to nearby Ferndale and explored an old cemetery, had lunch, and went to a candy shop. This is the view of Ferndale from the top of the cemetery.

Waiting for our table.  They even found a spot for our giant jogging stroller!

There's Kyle's fancy new car!

EJ marvels at all the options in the candy store.  The home made candy bars we got were so delicious!

Pepperwood - Part 3

Water pong. Kyle was really good! I think he has a secret beer pong life that he hasn't told us about.

Grilling up some oysters. They were delicious!

An oyster toast!

Pepperwood - Part 2

Holly and Mel's lovely home where they were gracious enough to host all of us. Their farm is so beautiful that Serenity and Matt got married there.

After a morning walk, we came back to find everyone harvesting and cleaning garlic from Holly and Mel's organic farm. We were lucky enough to get to bring some home with us!

EJ was more interested in snoozing under a tree than cleaning garlic.

Trading babies again!

Vivi is a pro at high fives.

EJ wasn't very nice to Uncle Kyle. Sorry about that, Kyle!

Pepperwood - Part 1

Pete's aunt and uncle live on a farm surrounded by redwood trees in Pepperwood, California.  We explored the nearby trails each morning and walked to the banks of the Eel River. It's so beautiful and peaceful there, and we can't wait to go back for another visit!

See Pete? He went down to the river.

I stayed up here with EJ.
