Bunny Ears

          EJ was too little for the Easter egg hunt after our Stroller Strides class today, but that didn't stop him from wearing his bunny ears!

Update: When Pete came home and saw EJ's outfit, he called him his little UPS man for the rest of the night.  I guess it was a lot of brown :)

Hanging out with our friends Loralie and Andrew.  Andrew and EJ are only two weeks apart in age, so it'll be fun to watch these two grow together!

Lake Miramar

          Today was another beautiful day! Peter was golfing, so I thought EJ and I needed to get out of the house, too.  We went with our old standby, Lake Miramar.  Even though we go there all the time, it always makes me happy to take EJ there because I used to walk by the lake when I was pregnant and think about how soon we'd be bringing our baby there.  And now we do!

  

Crazy Baby

          On Monday afternoon, EJ was in a crazy mood. He was super tired from refusing to nap all day and was smiling and laughing his little head off.

     

Tummy Time

Tummy time doesn't last very long now that EJ has mastered rolling over.

Busy Baby

          EJ has had a busy couple of weeks!  In addition to the Hullabaloo concert we went to, he's gone to story time, baby sign language class, the library, his first movie, the lake, Stroller Strides, and running lots of errands.  He's a busy guy!

He wasn't super excited to be at Sprouts, but he was kind enough not to cry in the store.

EJ got to hold a giraffe puppet during story time one day.  I tried to make sure he didn't drool on it.

He was a little happier at the grocery store this time.  More and more often now he's awake when I run errands, and it makes me nervous every time!  Luckily, we haven't had any major crying in public yet.

Hullabaloo

          Today, EJ went to his first concert.  We went to see Hullabaloo with a couple of EJ's baby buddies and had a great time!

Fun fact: Baby Andrew's mom gave me some clothes that Andrew outgrew and EJ's wearing some now and will grow into the others.  The funny part is that EJ is two weeks older than Andrew.  Sometimes it pays off to be littler than the other guys!

NICU Diaries

          I forgot to post about this, but a couple weeks ago, I wrote a guest post on my sister in law Anna's blog, Knit One, Yarn Over, as part of a series she started called NICU Diaries.  Anna and my brother Alex's son, Johnny, spent nine days in the NICU when he was born, so when he and EJ meet in person this summer, they'll have lots to talk about.
